Clio headunit into a 106?

Hi All

Had my old headunit lying under my bed for abit, and had a thought...

Basically my mums radio in her 106 died about 2 years ago, and now she drives everywhere in silence. sometimes even plays music through her phone on the way to work bless her haha! So, is there any reason why i couldn't use the radio from the clio?

Lets say i made it fit, got the correct wiring adapters, would anything stop it working? i/e the alarm or maybe a code?

I guess the code is the only hurdle you'll have to overcome but this can be entered without a display.

If you read the manual you cab use the numbers on the fascia to select the code.

Just as another option, if there's any car boot sales near you you could pick a headunit up pretty cheap.
