Clio Mk1 high/ fluctuating idle

Hi guys, I’m having issues with my 1.4 RT Mk1 Mpi idle. When I start the car it idles at around 1000 rpm which seems fine for a cold start but slowly creeps up to any where between 1400 and 1700. It can sometimes fluctuate as-well, sounding like it is going to stall and then comes back into life. I have replaced the map sensor and lambda sensor. After a few starts the idle control motor starts to come out to far and I wind it back in manually with 12v. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
