1998 Clio RT
Hi all,
I've got a 98 clio mk2, and i noticed the temperature gauge behaving erratically a week or so ago. The needle was rising up to the last 2 bars then falling. My heater would only pump cold air into the car aswell. I looked at my water bottle saw it was below min. so topped it up to just below max. All the water had completely dissappeared when i next looked, topped it up some more then it all came back so it was above max. I bled the system of any air and I've now changed the thermostat. The car doesnt now overheat when driving and the heater works, however, when stationary at traffic lights the needle rises and the heater runs cold again. the temperature lowers and heat comes back when moving again. The fan and radiator are both working.
Please help?
