Clio Mk2 Ph2 Scratched and misty headlights

Hi, as you can see from the pictures, the top of my headlights are scratched quite badly and misty. Ive tired polishing but that doesnt get rid of the scratches... There fine but you can feel them. How can i get rid of this or reduce it?

3000 WD paper and loads of plastic polish will fix it up, takes a long long time though.

For the upper parts, I recommend 1500 wet sand paper, it will take ages to take it down with 3000. Just keep it always wet. I did mine with 1000,1200,2000, and autoglym reisin polish (this only I did with a help of maschine, not proper polishing maschine) and here are the results.
