Renault Clio Extreme
Hi guys so my mk3 1.2 has been acting a little weird recently.
When started up the revs are not extremely erratic, but they drop to around 400rpm and the car shakes quite a bit, eventually it sorts itself out. This is not a cold start problem, because it happens with starts even when the engine is hot. My fuel consumption is also rather rubbish and more recently the car seems to be taking longer to pick up speed.
I checked the basic things and Was just checking the ignition leads and came across one that was slightly ripped, i don't know if this is what is affecting it, I have attatched a picture of the ignition lead (two of the ignition leads also had white stuff on it at the tip which I wiped off). So from my amateur diagnosis I either put it down to ignition lead or the lambda sensors. Anyone with any advice please let me know, thanks !
