hello guys just thought i would drop a comment as i have just bought my first car. 2000, Gold clio mtv, 3dr, 1.2, 8v. I am 17 so it has the usual things bodykit etc. I am interested in geting an engine swop sometime in the near future as it is seriously slow and was hoping you guys could give me some advice, was thinking of a 1.8 clio williams engine? any advice would help me, thanks. 1.8 Isn't a Williams engine . Only made the Williams in 2.0

I'm not going knock it. I wouldn't have it. But when i was 17 i would of done and would of loved it.

your straight swap engine conversions are 1.6 16v (k4m) or a 2.0 clio sport lump (f4r)

have a look at how most of the younger guys with insurance limitations are doing it on here:

You can make a big impact with some subtle stuff, less is more remember.

It's slow as f*ck cause of all the extra weight it's carrying with that wrapped around it!
And all that work and still the black plastic spoiler It's almost a pet hate of mine.

yeah its really slow because of the bodykit, doesnt really put me off yet because its my first car but i wud love to have a big engine in it. what kind of cost am i looking at?

And i know the bodykit isnt for eveyone but i love it, no need to **** it :dapprove:
