I have recently been experiencing some problems with my 182. When starting from cold it does not turn over first time always. The idle is very rough and it has stalled on me a couple of times. These problems have been getting progressively worse over the past month. There is no problems with power at higher revs its just mainly problems turning over and poor idling and sounds like the car is about to stall. The car has been to the garage several times and the following things have been done:
-crankshaft sensor with new wiring loom
-coil pack but not the HT leads
-new spark plugs (NGK)
-Injectors have been ultrasonically cleaned
One of the errors that came up was a destructive misfire. My mechanic can't seem to diagnose the problem and I've been throwing loads of money at the car in an effort to find the fault.
Any suggestions as to what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated.
