Clio Rear Speakers

Hi all, i have a 3 door, 2001 renault clio 1.2 16v, im looking to upgrade my sound system wanted to no if i could fit a 6.5" speakers in the back? as i can't take off the rear panel and look behind.

Why cant you take it off?

Just lift the rear seats vertically and then the cover that covers the speakers should just pull off and then it just clip into place when u have finished.

Well its 13cm standard size and needs a lot of chopping to fit 6.5 inch speakers but it can be done. I know this cos Ive done it!

cool, did yu take the whole 1/4 panel off and mount a mdf ring from the back ? how difficult is it to do that ??

that plastic is so flexy........has the mdf stifened it up ??

Yeah had to take the panel off and then cut a lot of plastic away. Its more than just a mdf ring, it goes off to the side as well so that its held in better.
