clio RS’s made for the next year

my dad did a bit of ringing up reno garages today looking for some tickets to donnington, and was enquiring bout the cliosport at the same time, one dealer said that the cliosports will still be made along side the new car for around a year yet until the new model comes out. is this true? i mean can anybody factually confirm it?

They will still be making the Clio II in Extreme and another version and will be sold at a cheaper price than the Clio III when that comes out. So I would assume, that Renault wanna keep a toe in the Hot hatch market until RS Clio III comes out.

Theres going to be the extrem 3 sold for a while when the new Clio 3 is in production to sell the last of the chassic etc but the RS Clio has almost finished production there still a few RS Trophy model to make but thats it.

The current shape clio is still gonna be made until 2007 but re-badged as a Campus. Renault are gonna try to sell this as a cheaper version.

Ah, a long memory !

Yes, Campus replaces Rush and Campus Sport replaces Extreme 4. These 2 versions stay in production into 2007.

3 door next week, 5 door in January.

But I think that you mean the Renaultsport ?

Early summer next year.
