Clio RSi owner needs some good advice

Hi.

Ive recently aquired a 95 Clio 1.8 RSi (8 valve).

Can anyone give me some advice on how to increase performance/power? (ie chipping engine etc.)

Be gentle - im a relative novice to this - so idiot proof guides would be helpful.
