clio,s being broken

  phase 1 flamer 172
Cannot believe how many phase 1,s and phase 2,s really are being broken, Used to be terminal rust was the only good reason to break a car, but these are rust free, still will just make mine rarer.

I suppose you make more money out of them then selling them as a whole shame though :( I used to say I would break my Monaco if I wanted rid but now its had so much work and history I couldn't bring my self to do it :) not that I want rid of it anyways :D

Simple economics, if it is worth more in bits, people will take it apart so it is in bits. Personally, I love my flamer and have put a lot of time, effort and money into it. But if I needed to sell it, it would be in bits in 3 days.

Lol - you vultures! I said 'if' I needed to sell it. Luckily, I don't.

Truth is though, with cage, seats, cams, gripper diff'd box, bilsteins, whiteline, Induction Kit, trophy spoiler etc, I'd probably make double what I'd make if I broke it compared to selling it with it all in. Sad, but they're the facts of life.

I've had my Clio six month and I'm almost hitting the 1k mark....just on repairs and getting it back to standard

Selling it did cross my mind after a few months of ownership but I've went to far now
