clio satellite navigational system

can someone please post a photo of there clio dash with the renault oem navigation system. Also if possible a part number and estimated cost of the dash (not the navigation system or screen) it would be just the middle console.

it is a good system, bit pricey though, £1500 from renault factory fitted then Ive bought a new map disc at £200 to enable TMC. I mainly use it for traffic alerts rather than navigation.

as far as i know mate the bit you coloured yellow is part of the top dash, you need the whole new top dash. Mike knows for sure and part number etc.

Yeah its £270 just for the frame cuz i thought about it but then after pricing it up with mike, we totalled it at being nearly £1500 with a vdo sat nav kit and the interface, wiring and the new dash frame etc and then i would have to get someone to fit it.

how does the sat nav work with the rest of the in car entertainment? ie, cd player and such? or is there a special chager for the maps kept on teh disk? I quite fancy one in my trophy , woo

i mean what happens if you changed the cd player in the car to a non standard one, would that affect the sat nav at all?

there is a serperate cd drive in the boot look at my pics. This is the same drive you use to load software etc. All clios have the brackets behind the carpet in the boot if you look for this cd drive. The main computeris under the drivers seat hence my cd changer went under the passenger seat. There are various other sensors used as well so the system knows if you are turning or slowing moving faster, so it can work under tunnels.
