Ive just bought an x-reg 2001 5dr clio 1.9 diesel. It didnt come with a service book and i was wondering what the service interval is for the clio diesels. Thanks
Thanks for that, I assume its then a 2 year interval for the diesel models as well. I know that other diesels require to be serviced more often ( i also drive a 4x4 diesel and it needs serviced every 6 months unfortunately).

IThats hat Renault say it needs to be done I'd personalyl chnag the oil ever 9k/1 year ie once extra between services.
Servicing rules have been changed since better oils have been developed and its a way to reduce running costs which owners want hence 30k servicing on Merc etc if they have veriable service lenghts.
Its not ideal for the car engine though but they'll last for years on stock servicing so 10 years down the line why would a compnay care that 3k servicing would have make the engine better by that time the cars worth little anway.
