clio speedo

[Rob 16v]

hi guys, ive got a problem on my 1.6 16v 1999 clio speedo, while im driving along the speedo will turn off. i think its the electronic speedo?

ive heard the best solution is to give the pickup a clean with some wd-40? but where is the speedo sensor and how do i get to it?

Pictures would help the experts I reckon mate. (Not of you driving, just the location where you mean). I'm thinking you mean the trip computer display thingy?

Looking from a laymans point of view it could just be a dodgy connection.

Not like I know though TBH.
