Clio Stalk/Display/Speaker Adapters

Hi,

Ive got a 2001 clio 1.2 dynamique and im looking to upgrade the audio from the standard cd player, ive been looking round at adapters for dash display and the steering wheel controls. Ive managed to find the Connects2 DRNS003 adapter which seem to be the one that will enable me to use the controls and display with a sony hu. Just wondering if anyone has one and how well does it work ? Also which speaker/power adapter to I need to fit a sony hu to the clio or is it standard iso ?

Yeh thats what I thought but I really dont want to loose my dash display or steering wheel controls. Yes, badly enough to get a sony hu.

get an alpine, they do the adaptors for the steering remote and display too. and are a hell of a lot better than sony!

Could only find this on the OE vehicle display, but it shows that they do do it.

I have an alpine HU, bought the steering/lcd adapters at the same time. Works no probs.

Assuming I need both of those adapters, do I also need to get a standard iso adapter for the speakers and power for the hu ? Also what are the standard speaker sizes ?

PC9-502This does the lot but i have pull dash to bits and i don,t know where to start

if you get a tape measure to the speakers you will find they are 13cm in the front and 13cm in the rear (assuming you have some there)

ive a sony mp3 hu and the display/steering control adaptor works like a dream was £30 from caraudiodirect

it involved taking the top of the dash off!!

so i wouldnt say it was too easy, but managed to get it all sorted eventually

the dash top just unscrews and then you can lift it off to access all the wires behind

MY boyfriend bought the top of the range pioneer h/u. but it would work with the steering controls. so he used his annoyingly big brain and bought a learning remote control, wired it for the controls, then set up the infra red on his centre console to his h/u - works a treat and only cost him about 5 quid!

Ive been told that the PC9-502 is no longer made.

Where did you get yours from, and did you manage to get it to work?
