Clio stuck!

My rear drum brake on the offside is stuck and i can't move the car!

Its a 97 R reg 1.2 Rn.

Is there any easy ways to unstick it. The car will move but drag the wheel along!

try to get some fattys in it when mine got stuck years ago it went for about a meter draging then i heard a bang and they started moving again luckly it did not brake my brakes

Try pumping the brakes? The rear breaks do lock sometimes. Do a search see what everyone else says...

Once happened to me in a old nova i used to rally around. (not on the roads for legal and embarracment reasons)

Just sat in it and kept serging it forward and eventually it broke free. Clutch may not like it too much.

the shoes are crap, the material will have fallen off and wedged the drum locked

My car at home is parked facing down on a steep drive and everytime i let the handbrake off i hear it bang slightly, when the drums up stick. Its just when its been sitting a while and they seize up a bit.
