clio v6 maintenance, parts & reliability

Hi,

I am from Malaysia & thinking of buying clio v6 mk1.As the car is very rare (only 2 in the country, imported through grey importer). I was wondering how easy is is to get parts for the v6, is it widely available say through mail order from UK dealers or parts supplier? Is the car reliable? If not thinking of getting 147 gta which is officially imported.

You should be able to get most parts from HK or somewhere a bit closer who might be a bit more accommadating than the UK dealers, theyre bad enough when youre in the same country!

They dont seem to be any less reliable than other cars in their class. Dont think your average Renault dealer would do mail-order parts. Try the ask an expert facililty at http://www.renaultsport.co.ukhttp://www.renaultsport.co.uk

Also since the engine is basically a common V6 used in multiple vehicles, theres always the chance that in some instances youll be able to source locally too!
