Clio V6 Mk1 Central locking

  RenaultSport clio v6 mk1
Hi, I have just recently bought a Clio V6. When I was looking at a potential V6 to buy is had automatic locking (it locked itself after a while). In my hand book that I recieved with the car it says that in some models it will lock itself after 30 seconds of inactivity, but mine dosen't. So i just wanted to know if it should have this feature or not.
Also should my car have come with a clio v6 hand book, if they made one.

Any infomation will be helpful, cheers.

when you unlock the car with the key fob, if you don`t undo either door with-in 30 seconds the car will lock again. if the doors are opened in this 30 seconds, the auto lock feature is cancelled. so yes u should have this feature if you still have the standard alarm.

Cheers for the quick answers, I will look into the hand book and cheers for the part number.

The other night I locked the doors with the fob key and waited and nothing happened and as far as I know the alarm is standard??? I think a trip to the dealers is needed on both accounts.

Cheers
