Clio V6 TWR Development car...

very odd indeed i think i remember an unfinished v6 from twr for sale a while ago maybe this is it after it's been facelifted.

it's a genuine v6 body (fuel cap placement) so cant be too dodgy

this sold for 6500 about 9 months ago, runs like a slut and will never be 100%

I wonder if it is still registered as a clio extreme 1.4 5 door like it was when HPI'd it

EDIT, looks like he has updated the engine size with the DVLA. but its still down as a clio extreme

VRM OU54XNP
MANUFACTURER RENAULT
MODEL CLIO EXTREME 3 16V
BODY TYPE 3 Door Hatchback
COLOUR SILVER
FUEL TYPE Petrol
ENGINE SIZE 2946 CC
DATE REGISTERED 01/09/04
FORMer KEEPERS 6

Hmmmm correct engine size but still down as an Extreme, for a 54 plater its been owned more times than MOFO too.

Just noticed, no MOT and currently SORN.
Also this quote reflects what Phil was saying:

"Do you know how much power the engine develops on the carbs?"
I’ve never had the car on a rolling road so I could not say. The car would benefit from some live tuning on a rolling road to set the carbs up"

its not a TWR development car at all, a bloke called Tim bought the shell off TWR, fitted a new TWR engine and box, and then fitted the carbs to it

i believe the car made about 170bhp when i spoke to the owner a few months back (he called asking how much it would cost to get it upto the OE 230/255 bhp)

If I was a tuner Id prob buy this, sort it and make it a demo car.
Could be a good car if done right.

its a random comment but its not even got the V6 spoiler as said its a Nail some one should send him an email with the HPI check on it
