Where did you pull those figures from...No way in hell is the R32 a 6 second car. It's 6.5

Havent read the whole thread BUT i slowely went past an older R32 once on a bypast.. he was booting it as well before anyone says.. i was stupidly suprised actually.. happened twice... reg "... YOY" if your on here

0-100... I know it can`t be just a matter of adding the 2 together as that would be in the 13`s which I can`t see but certainly quicker than the 16.63 of the new R32....

I think the R32 is too 'bling.' The latest one (is it out yet?) looks fooking terrible. The new GTI is mint though

how is the latest one too bling?? look at it and it looks like a low spec golf IMO.. doesnt have any fog lights or anything..

prefer the looks of the GTI..
allthough the r32 has twin exhaust and will sound awesome.

Not keen on mk5 R32 personally. Love the mk4 though. My uncle has one and its awsome! Probably what will replace my 182 in a year or two.

oh bearing in mind that all the early mk4s have a different map to the later ones,and vw offer a rechip to up the power to the same as later mk4s so alot of magazines commented on how flat the r32 first felt,thats because of the map,we have done a few at work and it does make the car so much better.
thats prob why some of u have kept or passed them and some havent
