I've only met him a few times and I don't actually have a contact for him.

I'm not here to give any excuses on his behalf but;

He works nights, and is generally a pain to get hold of. But he's a genuinely nice guy who isn't here to rip anyone off.

I'm seeing him tomorrow and I'll get him to get in touch with you as soon as I see him

Yer cal isn't there to rip anyone off mate don't worry about it. Sometimes he's a pain to get hold of. If he's not sorted out whatever it is over the next week I'll give you the money as he's one of my best mates so I know there's not problems with that. If I get hold of him I'll tell him to call you.
