CSF26 ClioSport Festival 2026 - Tickets On Sale Now!

Well, it’s gone. But f**k me what a farce it’s been!
The “bloke” looked like he was straight out of The Simpsons 😂 (imagine Sideshow Bob, but with pink fingernails and fake tits).

Hopefully they don’t f**k it up the other end as I won’t be there to shout words of encouragement.

Good luck with getting it all sorted out buddy! Fingers crossed for you! 🫣👍

Thanks all of the admin for a brilliant weekend.

Once again, top draw organising and great to see everyone.

Apologies if I didn’t get to see everyone, I turned up late, had some car drama llama, then left early (loads of stuff going on at home).

But the 24 hours I did spend there, were much needed and were;

Who were the nutters in the radicals? Those things are rapid.
No idea of the username unfortunately but I was chatting to the owner of one of them (the one without the sticker on the rear left) and he used to own the Inferno Cup that @Brigsy posted up earlier. Mental that thing was!

Just got home.

I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

I’ve got so many thank you’s to write!

I’ll start with Friday. The help we had setting up from @Mbeau @Cads and @GiT was incredible. By you helping us we were able to get everything done by about 9pm. We aren’t usually done until midnight!. It meant we could grab a bit of dinner and be back at the hotel at a reasonable time to get a good nights sleep before the event. Thank you so much lads!!

Second thanks to @GiT for manning the DJ decks for most of the day! You did a fantastic job mate.

Massive thanks to @RustyMojo and @YorkshireKyle for taking Stanners out on track he was like a pig in sh*t! 😂 and also thanks to @MLB for taking me out for my first time around Cadwell circuit AND my first time ever in an M2. You can certainly drive mate!!

Next thank you is everyone who turned up. Obviously without you lot the event simply doesn’t happen. I really enjoyed catching up with old mates and making new ones. The thing that always strikes me is how you all group together to help anyone out anyone thats having car trouble, even people you hardly know. It’s never too much trouble and it really goes to show what a fkn great bunch of people you all are.

I’ll add more thanks in the thread and when my octogenarian brain remembers the ones I’ve forgotten 😂

From an admin point of view, this was probably the best CSF we’ve ever done. It just felt like everyone was having a great time and the feedback we’ve had so far has been extremely positive. I never would have thought in a million years that we would get the opportunity to do our little event at an MSV circuit. And what a venue it turned out to be!

I know there was a bit of trepidation regarding the track time being in groups this year but again from the feedback we’ve had it actually worked out really well.

Our minds are now fully focussed on next year and we already have a few ideas in our heads of possible location’s.

WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!

Love you all

Ronald ❤️

It was epic.

Smashed it out the park again, well done chaps.

Big thanks to all those who donated raffle prizes.

@Flat Eric for a load of proper proper nice JLR clothing and @J-J for the cooler box

I know there were other people who donated but I can’t for the life of me remember at the moment 🤦‍♂️ but a massive thanks to you all.

No worries at all. If I make it to next years I will try and get some other bits

From my point of view the groups worked well. I’d trade open pit lane for a track like cadwell every day of the week.

The only trouble I found was if you get a red flag, it kind of ruined the session a bit as by the time you get going again it’s time to come off. Then you’ve got to wait another 40 mins.

Sessions worked well but I think maybe once people were dropping out it may have been worth going open pit lane. I think the last 2 sessions of group C felt like there was only 5 or 6 of us out there.

How many red flags were there in the end? 2? 3? Seems they were all for breakages rather than anything else. I thought I was going to cause one when I battered a floppy marker but I guess it stayed put...

Who's it going to for repairing?

There was 3 that I can remember in group B/blue group that I was in.

Radical, blue 172 Cup and red 172.

What car were you in mate?

My first CSF as well. A huge thank you to everyone for organising it was an absolutely mega day. Great bunch of people and driving standard in group C was fantastic.

Thanks @YorkshireKyle for letting me lick your toes, @Sidnancy for letting me steal your fuse and @Filters for the tuition on track.

Had an absolutely mega time!
Anytime mate, anytime. Thank you for trusting me with your motor and letting me have a drive.
It's such a nicely balanced car, can only apologise if there's a lack of tread on the rears 😂 you can back her in a lot more than I expected!

Think @MLB owes me a drive of the m2 now 😘🤣

Massive thanks to all the usual suspects for a mega time.
And sorry to anyone I didn't get to catch up with.

Just got home - had 6 hours sleep all weekend.
Bed is needed. Fucked!

It got home.

With William in it.

But we found some pretty interesting wiring when the Nerd Brigade descended on it.
Cruised past it on the slip road joining the A14 from the A1, he looked a bit toasty in the cabin. Good to hear he made it home

Yours looked great !

We were just taking it slow and steady, he was a very sweaty boy 🤣🤣

A much nicer drive home than the Anglesey journey for me anyway. Great venue, big thanks to all those behind the scenes as ever.

Thank you! Great to catch up with you again, and nice to see the Beemer...... Another one 😁

Half the driving time compared to Anglesey!

Absolutely sue perb day up at Cadwell yesterday, and great company! I didn’t stop smiling all day!

Massive shout out to the admin for pulling off an MSV track as well!

With the venue being a bit more compact, from a paddock perspective, I think it kept everyone together more. I may be biased as I’m originally a Lincolnshire boy, but I think it actually worked better than Anglesey.

@Sunglasses_Ron @Nik @Cub. @Scrooge + your brother! He was absolutely fuckin hilarious! 😂. @YorkshireKyle @dann2707 @RustyMojo @Touring_Rob @Ph1 Tom @J-J @TheEvilGiraffe @Sir_Dave @Nickw88 @Sidnancy (wrong gear oil caused all your problems! 😂) @Renny 5 (you still need a gripper!) @MLB @lee M4RSH @MAXRUNDOWN + anyone else I chatted with/took the piss out of, it was great to see you all again!

And a special shout out to @Flat Eric who was co pilot with me yesterday. ❤️
