The next two are taken with the D80, but this next one I had the exposure compensation set to -5! Oops, brightened & converted to B&W in PS...

This is all i have...has been a crap time of year for photies from me. managed to get a about 2 hours of decent weather...

been messing with a new 10mm from work......
couple of snaps in the car park on the way home, and 1 to show how much of a good looking bloke I am.....lol
Lense is awesome for interiors of cars etc, bit over the top for general use.
Looking forward to going out on a night in town with it this week....should produce some good effects.
who says driving whilst holding a DSLR camera and taking a pic with a bright flash at 70mph is dangerous????

Its in the Naddle Valley of keswick.... would you believe i did'nt use a grad filter or anything, the ole 20d exposed the ground and sky perfectly

ive not got a
clue what this looks like on a calibrated monitor, mines well off.
all ive done in PP is colour balance and corrected lens distortion
its a bit off but only managed to get 1 exposure done due to depleated battery, will get a better 1 another time i think.
i did get it all in, but when corecting lens distorion its made me lose the bottom end! grr!
as i say tho, will go again..

Thought that this should be simple. So took this one tonight just stood in the garden. Straight out of the camera no photoshop, filters or anything as you can probably tell.

I have been out and about trying to get some good cloud shots. Didn't realise just how hard it is to get it right!!!!! I have taken these straight off the camera with no jiggery pokery! I seem to lose a lot of clarity when i down size the images, is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Think you may Using too much compression on your images in order to get them posted onto here, there seems to be a lot of pixelation in the bottom image.
PM the method you are using and I will see if we can improve it and to get your pics on here looking as good as they do on your camera.
