Cloudy headlights

hi, both my clios have got very cloudy headlight casings and are very yellow, sunlight damage I presume. Iv been told the best way to resolve this is to simply wet and dry them, then polish, does anyone know if this works, and if it lasts? thanks

I need to do this on mine, been avoiding doing it for weeks but needs to be done

use coarse and fine polish if you can get it, also iirc you can get a special coating for the headlight to stop it hazing up again im unsure of the name will ask my dad when he's back from work lol
