Cluster problem!!!!

  Clio mk2 ph2 1.2 16v
I know that this has been disscussed and answered alot of times here already but anyway, when braking my back fog and back indicators light up as a result of rust in the cluster block.

Ive cleaned the male pins but how am i supposed to clean the female connector?? ive tried everything from sandpaper to a small file and just cant get them clean! has anyone else found a good solution? i was thinking of plastering it with autosol or something like that to try and loosen the dirt?

Keep cleaning them mate, if they're that bad get down a scrap yard and cut the block plugs out of a good one (not Mk2 Ph1), leave a few inches of wire and replace them.

Small picks are probably best and old injector nozel cleaners.
