Clutch bite really high

Ive done a search and it seems that all clios have a high bite but i was just wondering how long i can expect my clutch to last before it starts slipping? I realise that it depends on how much its been abused throughout its life but on average how long do 182 cluthes tend to last ? Mine is on 71k

Most tend to last well over 100k afaik.

It's not a guaranty though... Pressure plates can go beyond or before that mark to.

My early 172 is on 115k and still on oe clutch!!

Depends on how it's been driven. I had mine changed at 130k and it was still fine.

Yea, I changed mine at 80k, loads of life left in the friction pad, not even half used but the pressure plate was really really stiff, much smoother now

I just changed mine at 74k, loads left on it.

It was only changed because I was getting a new gearbox, As above though mine was starting to get to the on / off stage, Like butter now though

Well fingers crossed it'll be ok. All I seem to be doing lately is ploughing money into it

clutch was fine on mine at 110k but the crb collapsed..

Clutch on mine went about 100k saw the friction plate it was thinner than paper and torn... Oops
