Clutch cable

My clutch cable snapped, so can i get an aftermarket one (eg. from Akron) or must i really buy the original one?

Never used a non gen one so no idea what the quality is like. But thats because the genuine one isnt that expensive. Was a while ago i bought one but £30 springs to mind
