Clutch feels funny when taking off

Hi guys,

My 182 (80000km) feels odd atm when taking off in 1st gear. It's as if the biting point changes, and with maybe 1cm left before it's completely out, it behaves as if it's out. Then the next stop light it acts differently again. It also shudders and groans and is quite noisy really. I have noticed it happens after longish journeys (100km +)

Any ideas? Need a new clutch cable?

sounds like it's going to be time for a new clutch. Worth doing the cable too IMO, as they rust up fairly well inside

Okay. But surely it would slip or something? It's fine everywhere besides 1st.

New clutch needed
