Clutch, how long do they last ?

My Clio 172 just hit 65 k and although the clutch is fine I feel it will need changing in a year or so. Far as I know it has not been changed.

Is it normal that it will last over 65k or do you think it has been changed before I owned the car?

any help would be great

My old one is on 102k and going ok as far as I know, Nick's/Dave's shed is on the original as well.

Depends on lots of different factors. Mine was changed when the gearbox had a recon, at 130,000 miles. the clutch was still fine though

Ages i driven correctly, my mrs old car 2002 dci which i sold to a mate is still on its original clutch at over 140k

6 or 7 full-throttle 1-100-0 tests?

No rule to it. My gears were bent by 75000 miles, never mind the clutch (which seemed fine)
