Clutch issues

My renault clio 1.416v has a very high biting point is this usual as thi is my first CLio, the bitting point seems to be nearly at the top of the pedal???:dapprove:

Is there a way i could get a mechanic to simply adjust this problem

or are parts needed i.e Clutch cable and or a new clutch


Please help me

the clutch issue is very comman on clios, they have an automatic adjuster so theres nout u can realy do to it, untill it starts to slip that is. some members think its a good thing, for quicker gear changes.

oh right how do i no if its slipping?

when you take your foot off the clutch and the car goes nowhere, you will feel it tho when it starts.

well it dosnt do this but just bites late mayeb ill be ok till it slips thanks mate just anoyes me the way it dosnt bite till ya leg is ova ya elbow lol
