clutch pedal clicking..

starting to piss me off now, the clutch pedals sometimes 'clicks' then I have to press it all the way down to change gear and then it clicks back up again and it's normal...

happens now and then... what's the problem?!

Had this on my old escort and all that needed replacing was this plasic thing about 50p size... dont know what it is though sorry.

benji is spot on, very common on fords, shat myself when it happend in my old xr3! It was described to me as an absolute c*nt of a job on the escort! The part is cheap but labour is high, if your handy with a spanner give it a go
