Clutch pedal clicking!?

Every now and then when I bring my clutch pedal up it clicks, once or twice you can live with but anymore than that then my god it gets really, REALLY iritating!! Any ideas please on what it could be and does it do it with anyone else?

Did you solve this issue? Mine is making the same noise and I think I found the problem.

Not sure of the part number though, trying to find that now.

Ratchet pedal mechanism.

7700416242 (could have changed), about £25 IIRC.

Any more info on this? Mine has been getting worse and worse. It's doing my fooking nut in. Is it the cable, the mechanism?

It's everytime I let the clutch out now. All looks fine, from what little I can see.
