clutch problems

Alright ppl, im new to this site as i have jst brought cliosport 172 of me pal, its done around 103000 miles on a 02 plate, since i have owned the car the cluth has gone on it, i got it replaced but then it went again on me, there is no sound of a bang or any smoke, thing is it has gone again on me.. The garage were i take it has said that the sub frame is badly smashed up, now it has not been involved in a crash as i have hpi'd it. Is there any explanation as to why my clutch keeps goin on me, apparently the garage say its something to do with the rings...........

Pls help me out as i am stuck on wot 2 do....

as for your problem....rings??? erm....clutches have rings????

probably badly fitted and needs the flywheel skimming

There's a very good change you car has been smashed and repaired without going through the insurance. HPI is only good to see of the cars been stolen or on finance.

Could be the clutch pedal linkage popping out? Happened twice on my 182, and certainly doesn't need a new clutch if it's that.

sideways danny - Yer the bloke at the garage said that the rings had gone n that the car had jst chewed up the old one's. Aint u neva herd of rings then in or around the clutch ?.........

fUbAr - cheers 4 that mate, 1 of my pals said that he rekons the car has been in a smash aswell, repaird and thn sold to a dealership coz thats wer i gt it frm. So when your clutch had gone, did you get any smoke or any sign of a bang ?.........
