Clutch Slipping on an RS 200

  Clio RS 200
Hi, I just bought my second clio sport an rs 200 and I have a quick question to anyone who owns one or could point me in the right direction,

When you rev the engine is there a slight delay when you use the clutch before the revs come back down? This happens most of the time when im changing gear the revs dont drop as soon as i use the clutch they hover for a slight second and before dropping.

I was just wondering if this happens on all of these cars or is my clutch slipping?

I dont even know if this makes sense to anyone but if anyone could shed any light on it it would be appreciated!

Sounds to me like you had a cable opperated throttle before and now you have an electronically controlled one.

It was a common complaint when I worked at renault and people came out of mk2 meganes and scenics and into the new shape ones.

Basically, you need to adjust your driving style and stop being so heavy footed with it.
