If you buy a new clutch cable it appears to be updated and is ALOT lighter!
I'm hoping so, mine seems quite heavy compared to anything I've ever driven. The girlfriends Ford KA clutch pedal feels broken compared to my 182 lol
It makes a huge difference. I put in a new clutch and clutch cable back in January and thought I hadn't connected it!
Like you I thought the clutch was insanely heavy previously. It got to the point I thought about selling the Clio as it was starting to give me a bad knee and back ache!
All good now though with the updated cable

Should be changing my cable along with the gearbox soon, how fiddly was it to fit?
Wasn't difficult at all mate. You just have to be careful when you push it through the bulkhead and connect it to the pedal. The plastic clips can be quite fragile!
