im guessing they are needed? (front and rear) to stop gunk etc getting into the dampeners?

i dont seem to have any!

No u dont get any with them.

DT sell them in 2 sizes... non of which fitted my dampers. So i left them.

No need to have them if u keep them tidy.... u cud make them urself easy enough, they were just material with velcro on the end.

hmm i may have a plan for the fronts, using the old ones(which i just found, thought i binned them!) they are very very tatty, not sure what to do with the rear dampeners tho, they will get covered in muck!!
