I use FK's and they are great imo, a little stiff but I like them like that.

on 172's without going to coilovers, eibach sportline springs and koni adjustable dampers are meant to be very good too.

im basically looking for a noticeable drop with improved handling aswell. what kind of drop would you get with FK coilovers and Koni dampers with eibach springs?

Wouldn't recommend FK's tho...Too hard and you can't 'properly' set them up due to the rear spring bein too short. i'd look at H&R's or Bilsteins.

Or eibac springs and dampers.

im getting H&R's for mine in the next month or 2 though!

as for setting up, if your near Central Scotland, John @ ProGrip in bonybridge done my old FK Coilovers on my 1.2 16v and done Ally's H&R's on his old 172 too! very highly recomended and a VERY reasonable price!

anyone know what the drop would be like with koni dampers and eaibach springs???

depends which springs you get.

sportlines are about -35mm

prolines are about -10mm tops I believe

don't go for the koni damper set which comes with springs as the springs are crap. make sure you get the yellow dampers too i.e. adjustable
