hi, the 182 gaz coilovers garyg is selling
how much modification/is it possible to?
fit to 172 ph1???

whats the bolt spacing on a 172?? IIRC its 58mm??

i think 182's are 60mm

aah so i'll need to modify the bolt holes, do gaz coilovers have adjustable camber? cos that job would be easier if they don't.

they don't have adjustable camber, just get a small dye grinder on the holes

or, weld the lower hole up and re drill it

my thinking is if i put a die grinder to it, i will defo need the camber checking.

this is what a tunning company i know of did when they fitted suspension, they'd elongate the lower strut hole and charge the customer for camber setup!!! (hence why they charged £399 to lower a clio! JUST SPRINGS!)

i take the other fittings are the same top mount, strut size and rear mounts ect?

yeah its just the bolt holes that are different on the front struts
