Mine is on FK Konigs:
Back is as low as it goes (although that ics old and they settled lower now), the front will drop until the tyre is resting completely on the liners.
I find the ride is perfect for me, like Chris I prefer a hard precise ride, to some vague bouncy cruiser so I have mine 3/4 wound for everyday, rebound is good, bodyroll is eliminated and the ride isn't 'crashy'. They give you plenty of feel, not really a bad word to say about them tbh.
Only ballache is inevitably having to fiddle with the height because as they settle, they go lower, then you start scrubbing when booting it, and this time of year unless you have some place warm to work-in it can be a barsteward.
I'd go for Konigs over High's everytime btw, if I know im travelling 150 miles on motoroway it's nice to be able to soften them up, then when you hit the B roads, wind them up and you have weapon for the lanes.
Recommended certainly.
You can fit them yourself, 2 man job ideally, and you'll need them laser tracked and camber/aligned afterwards (£80ish) so factor that into your costs.
I got mine from Rimstyle in the groupbuy for £499.
P.S Whatever you buy, make sure you swear the threads with plenty of Copper Grease, they have a tendancy to seize up with all the salt etc.
