Coilovers

  S2 106 GTI
I would like to know this too! :) i was going to get some koni shocks and dampers but i'm going to go for coilovers..... better in the long run!

  RS Clio 200
im saying H&R cos i heard good things - i then bought them and had them fitted and setup by Mark Fish - and i now have one fecking awesome handing car.

Think they are widely known as the best you can get for clio without spending over a grand

btw - realistically you also need to allow an extra 250-300 on top of the coilover cost. There is no point getting them if you dont have them properly setup, plus ull need ure wheels track'd and re-aligned after they are fitted anyway.

H&R!!!

without hesitation or a shadow of a doubt.

that's what i'll be after once money allows, my GAZ coilovers do the job, but they make a big noisy fuss about it. lol

...you get what you pay for.

H&R are not adjustable damping - just height - but they are a very good compromise... stiff enough for some serious thrashing on track, but not gonna rattle ure brain on the road.

Without camber adjustning bolts they will give you a front wheel camber of about 2.0 which, depending on your needs might be a little too much if you are not going to be tracking.

height wise, this is one of my pics.... can go lower

H&R's!

I've tried others (owned others personally and having driven several different RS' with different kits fitted) so I have an idea of what I'm talking about ;)

Only had my 172 a week or so and was wondering if the FK coilovers with adjustable damping a worthy coilover?
