Anyone know the best type to buy for strength? and my current one for my K&N has got pretty mashed up. Any links to sites would be useful. Cheers:race:

Cold air feeds are a bit....Well you've got to be careful, i put a cold air feed to the maxogen and it went worse, too much air. all you need is a constand supply doesn't even need to be aimed at the filter.

Demon tweeks is always a safe bet for Pipin.

10% IIRC. Try Andy though, 1m of reinforced hose delivered for £15.

Cheers Len.
Our price will be better then demon tweeks easily i imagine and our feeds are very good quality

sorry to steal your post but seen as andy has been posting. id also like to know if 1m would reach a piperx on a 1.2 16v engine? and would it be an improvement as id imagine some warm air would still be getting into the filter.

thanks

I'd say it would easily reach unless you was running it complexly rounfd the engine. You could check though with a metre of string to get an idea on length. As for an improvement different people report different things but everyone agress cold air is not a bad thing. So aslong as your feeding it from somewhere where theres cold air you should see an improvement

From experience I found 1metre fractionally too short. Best to get 2metres and then trim it. :)
