Cold morning startin problem

Started up my car this morning and the thing really struggled, It started but then sounded like a bus then it was idling erratic, I give it a little rev then the thing cut out! I started it back up again and same thing happened idling erratic but didnt cut out! I let it warm up for a couple of mins then drove off and it was really chugging along. But after 5-10 mins everything was sound!

Ive booked it in for a sevice to see if this helps, Any ideas???

lol, no..

I am not sure about your car, but typically on other cars I have owned it has been down to a faulty sensor on the air flow meter.

I had this, thought it was the fuel filter but have put it down to moisture in the cap or on the leads somewhere?!?!?! Has stopped since it had a good run and has been being used every day. ( I have an RSi )

you should let your car run for a couple of minutes before setting of anyways
Actually no......

Modern cars are designed to be driven straight away from cold. The best thing for it is to be driven a low revs.
