Cold Running Problem

For the first couple of minutes of driving when cold, it seems to be pulling back quite a lot, and stuttering! It only happens when I lightly use the accelerator, its ok if I lamp my foot down!

Any ideas?

& is it just a coincedence that this just started happening after I topped up the oil, as I spilled a bit? Ive heard stories of oil going places it shouldnt.....sorry, Im not very mechanically minded! lol!

mine does that and coz the exhuast and decat it backfires and feels like im suddenly loosing power but goes after 3 mins of drivin!

Could be ignition related i.e spark pluggs leads dizzy cap rotor arm etc.

my sparks r brand new but spose the leads r gettin old now!

im not too fussed gonna upgrade everything ne way!

Had the same problem.

I changed my leads it made a slight difference, just got to be gentle with the engine untill warm

i find mine does this when it low on oil, or it could be oil in the spark plug chamber and goes after the oil heats up.

I checked the ignition leads this afternoon and three of them had bits of oil round the end of them. Do you think this might be causing it not to idle right. I cleaned the oil off, then went for a drive and things seemed a bit better.

How do I go about cleaning the spark plug chamber?
