cold start buzzing/whine

Only when its really cold out side for the first 30 second/1 minute of starting the car up i can hear a buzzing/whining noise, what is it??

Don't know what it is but mine does it as well and always worries me but I have had all the timing belt and everything done recently so just putting it down to being French now lol.

Its buzzing because its going out for a drive and its whining because you dont drive it hard enough.

Mine does it. I think it's the power steering pump. Goes away after about 30 seconds.

They all do it, sounds bloody horrible. I had all my belts/dephaser done and it still does it. Just part of the character of the car i say ;-)
