Color coding side strips

I have a dark blue MK2 Clio (99S), with color coded bumpers... but there are black protector strips on the side of the doors and on both front and rear bumpers.

The car is in perfect nick, but was thinking about getting some paint on the strips.

1) Has anyone done this before, or have the same question?
2) What is the best type of paint to use for this type of plastic?
3) If anyone has done this sort of thing, could you please send me pics!

Cheers Guys

relatively easy to do, not even particularly time consuming in all honesty if youve done a bit of spraying.

if you have a search, pay your fiver ;), theres a few guides on here which arent too bad at all.

Cheers mate. My dad used to build cars but to be honest I do not know a great deal about everything to do with the car. Just try my best to keep out his way! :approve:

aye as said pay the fiver mate and get the top information out the guide. Its just a case of sanding right the way down to a smooth finish, thick primer. and normal spray on top followed by lacquer. But the hard part is the prep.
