Colour coding again. Paint stripper?

Car  133, 182, Kangoo 182
My last attempt didn't look good enough for me due to a mismatch in colour so I'm looking to spray my parts again next week.

It's gonna take forever to get the paint off with paper so was wondering if anyone has used a paint stripper of some kind to get through the lacquer and spray before prepping the surface below?

Failing that I'll just have to spend a fooking long time sanding :)

Matt.

You don't need to go all the way back to the plastic. Just take the shine off, and paint on top..

I do have to unfortunately (Well, I might not but probably...). When I last sprayed it I didn't smooth it and it just looks sh*t! I want to take it right back and do it properly.

Get some paper with a course grit then, but I'd imagine that anything that will strip paint won't do the plastic any good. Failing that, how much can you get 2nd hand ones for? £20?

Yeah they're not that expensive.. Might just take a trip down to the local breakers and see what they've got. Thanks.

Might cause a reaction when painting again if you use stripper.

Just get some coarse paper on it!

Don't use stripper, doesn't matter how crappy the finish is underneath just sand it till your happy with how smooth it is then re-paint over the top of it.
