wet and dry working down to finer grades until completely smooth, then couple of coats of primer, few days to dry, sand the primer smooth with wet and dry again, fine grade though....more primer, few days and sand......gave them a good wash with fairy liquid...........then sprayed few coats of paint, let it dry for a few days, then another few coats of paint, then few days to dry.....no sanding needed...then just one very very thick coat of laquer until it was nearly running, left it a week to dry and put them on :)

Did you do the doorhandles too f0xy?

Also I know theres thousands of threads on it but I'm still a bit clueless, how did you remove the front strips, I know you're supposed to just push towards the rear of the car but are there any special techniques? Got any tips?

Cheers pal

risky, just cross your fingers it dont flake as the paint will have cured if you leave it too long and it would require wet flatting for the next coat to key to it.

its like taking a can of laquer and spraying it on your car wing, without prep it wont stick. it'll flake.
