Insurers do not like it as usually you have no insurable interest in the vehicle, what is the situation exactly?

I have never had any difference in a policy from a comparison website when I enter the details as the reg owner and keeper as myself and the done the same quote as not me. Insurable interest is surely only a very small % when getting a quote. I would do a comparison like myself, I can only go on my experience ....may be different for you.

I know Admiral do it, as my old man did it with my sisters car so that it could be kept taxed for selling it.

Have seen the few that go it through confused.com, Admiral being one of them.

I am the owner of the vehicle and I want to give use to a close friend. Confused.com seems to increse by about £150 if my friend is not the owner.

I will try Co-Op Insurance!
