Thinking about amping my front components - is it best to run the amp to the cross-over and amp both mid and tweater or directly to the mid?

to the crossover - otherwise you are rendering the xover useless for your mid - and it wount be as well set up, as well as the tweeter getting proportionally less power than before

Also - the wire from the cross over to the component on the drivers side has broken some where, any one know what kinda a job it is to run a wire through the odd looking rubber seal on the door?
