Comps vs Coax

Coaxail or Component?

which is better, i know this will sound like i have the brain of a turnip but i must ask

how are they different, i bought some alpine 17cm Coaxial n they sound n look pretty neat.

difference is components have a tweeter which is separate and also a crossover which makes the sound quality much better.the tweeter can be placed anywhere (within reason)
get components will sound soo much better and worth the extra pennies

Yeah go for the components up front
A little extra to pay/install but still easy on both pocket/brain

Why 17cm in the rear? (I think you discovered this by accident)
If you are keeping the 17cm coaxils in the rear go for 17cm comps up-front and get them amped

btw does anyone know if they is like a gadget that can be attached to the sub or amp to give you a digital read out of the watts your sub is running at?
